Diarrhea is a big problem in low income countries, and our community is no exception. We have found that household based ceramic water filters work in Pinares. While many in our community have filters, many more lack access to clean water. Consistent with SAGE values, we purchase the filters from the region and provide them at a discounted price (about two US dollars).
