Child mortality decreases 8% with each subsequent grade their mom completes.

Education helps individuals, families, and communities. Educated parents demand better health care services, understand nutrition, use preventive services, are more confident when dealing with the health care system, and have more opportunities for generating income. Historically, SAGE has provide scholarships for kids. Most kids in our community do not complete elementary school as families are unable to justify the high cost of tuition, supplies, and travel. Unfortunately, we have been unable to continue this program due to a lack of funds.
