Food Distribution March 2025

Community Coordinator Iris Giron reported on another successful Food Distribution in Pinares in March:

- We did the distribution of food on Saturday, March 1st 2025. 

- Gustavo was able to do the transportation of the food on Thursday, February 27th.

- All the parents were present to get the food for their children. 

- I also distributed the first aid kits for the leaders that were present and the other 2 communities that could not make it, I will give it to them later this month. I also send first aid kits for the schools we were not able to visit along with some soccer balls that the brigade brought.

- Also the medicine that was donated to the health center, was delivered to a teacher's house where they will pick it up on Monday morning.

- I bought 190 eggs from Llano de Balas, 270 eggs from Cedros, and Portillo del Norte did not sell us eggs this time so I bought beans instead for this community. I paid a total  amount of L. 2,300.00 on eggs. 

- This month we had the following leftovers: 34 bags of oats, 20 units of milk and 45 lbs of beans to use next month.

- Children received 3 products: 2 lbs of beans, 2 bags of oatmeal, 1 lt of milk.

(in Cedros, Llano de Balas, and Portillo del Norte, they received 10 eggs, 2 bags of oats, 1 Lt. of milk)

- Pregnant mothers received 2 products: 2 lbs of beans and 2 bags of oatmeal.
